Last night my husband and I ate a relatively new restaurant in Almunecar. It is called Los Laureles. We have eaten here several times, but they never cease to amaze us. The menu constantly changes and not only is the food top notch, it is absolutely great value for money as well. The service is impeccable. It is run by a young, hard working couple that are truly inspirational. She is Spanish and originally is from Almunecar and her partner Mark is English. He is the chef and she provides the wonderful service. They are open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday and on Sunday for lunch only. The restaurant is located in a stand alone building that is located in a residential area. They have private parking so the whole experience is hassle free. They have a very stylish dining room and a large terrace that is surrounded by a tropical garden. Wherever you choose to sit, you will be delighted.

They have a menu of the day offer for 12 euros. We promise you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend the chocolate fondue that is served with cinnamon ice cream. Talk about a wonderful way to end the evening!
