Art in the street

Under the title 'Artecalle' from July to September every day, several shops at La Herradura and some artists living in this town offered an outdoor exhibition with a particular flair. This is an artistic journey through a different way to enjoy the art.
Place: Paseo Andrés Segovia at La Herradura.

Dolphins & Flying Fish Having Fun Near La Herradura

On Sunday we had a fabulous day boating. The weather was very strange and it wasn´t one of our typical, blue skies days that we are so accustomed to on the Costa Tropical of Granada. Nevertheless the sea was calm, so we decided to go out. We had a great time snorkeling and observing the schools of colourful fish near the caves of Cerro Gordo and Maro. We had a great lunch at the restaurant Marina Playa Beach Club in La Herradura, but the real excitement started when we left the marina. We saw something whiz by us. It turned out to be a flying fish.
