Salobrena enjoys a sub-tropical climate, with average daytime temperatures of
The Sierra Nevada mountains protect the Costa Tropical from the extremes of summer heat and winter cold that the inland cities, such as Granada, experience. The Costa Tropical has the warmest winter temperature on mainland Europe. It is even warmer here than on the Costa del Sol. In winter, there are daily highs of 18C and nightly lows around 10C. Thanks to the heated pools in our holiday villas you can swim even in winter.
It is possible to ski from December through April. You can enjoy the slopes in the morning and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon. Our previous guests of our rental homes have been surprised that even in January it can be necessary to use sunscreen.
