If you want to see some authentic flamenco and not a show put on for tourists, then go and visit La Chumbera in the Sacromonte area of Granada. On Saturday evening at 21.30 hours, LA SENSA will be performing. Tickets are 7 euros each and can be purchased at the door. Get there early to make sure you get a good seat in the centre of the auditorium. The back of the stage is a wall of glass that looks out to the Alhambra, which is illuminated at night. It is truly a spectacular back drop. To find La Chumbera, it is easiest to take a taxi once you are in downtown Granada. Please don’t attempt to drive there. The fare is about 6 euros from the centre of Granada to the door of La Chumbera.
