New holiday villa overlooking Salobrena on Spain's virtually undiscovered Costa Tropical in Andalucia. Child-safe, heated private pool, hot tub, great sea views, air conditioning, internet access, 5 star. Tennis, beach & golf nearby. Easy access to Granada, Malaga & Almeria airport.
This sunny, south facing, vacation home with heated pool, beautiful sea views and large roof top terrace is brand new. The villa was first let in April 2006.
Key features:
The setting of this villa is very unique and picturesque as the house is built into a huge rock that is bordered by pine trees. It is very peaceful here and one has the feeling of being very close to nature. The plot is south facing so the sun can be enjoyed all day. The roof top terrace is a perfect sun trap. The sunrises are well worth waking up for!
Layout of the villa:
From the private parking area, you ascend a flight of stairs. There is a gate at the top of the stairs, so if you have young children, you don´t have to worry about them going doing the stairs on their own. At the top of the stairs, you encounter the pool terrace, covered porch and the entrance of the villa.
The private heated pool is 9 meters long by 5 meters wide. We have safety enclosures that can be placed around the pool to ensure that young children cannot enter without adult assistance. There is a pretty water fall feature that is built into the pool. There is a covered porch next to the pool with a large gas barbeque and a table for al fresco dining.
The door to the villa is accessed via the covered porch. Upon entering the villa, you encounter the spacious, round, open plan living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen has a breakfast bar which is great for kids and for enjoying a glass of wine and a tapa. There are 6 large windows that enable you to enjoy the stunning sea views from every angle. There is a french door for easy access to the terrace and pool area. There is a laundry room and a cloak/powder room on this level.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The master bedroom and one of the guest bedrooms have access to a terrace that overlook the pool and again offer magnificent views. The master bedroom has a super king size bed. The guest bedroom with the terrace also has a double bed. The third bedroom has 2 twin size beds and there is space for a twin size air mattress if there are 7 people in your party. There is balcony which leads to the garden area and the roof top terrace where the hot tub is located.
The roof top terrace offers truly panoramic views of the sea, the mountains and the best part is the Moorish castle of Salobrena that is illuminated at night. We have sun loungers up here, so that you can catch the last rays of the afternoon sun and you can relax and enjoy the stars after soaking in the hot tub. It truly doesn´t get better than this.

This self catering holiday accommodation is located in the heart of the still largely undiscovered and unspoilt Costa Tropical in Andalusia. This is what the Costa del Sol was like years ago before it was overdeveloped. With easy access to the historic city of Granada and the breathtaking Alhambra Palace, the Alpujarras with its small villages that cling to the hill side where it seems as if time has stopped, and the Sierra Nevada mountains, this is a wonderful place to experience the authentic Spain. Other places of interest include Almunecar with its markets and Roman ruins, La Herradura with its beautiful harbour and Nerja with its underground caves.
