This special, new villa with private pool & large grassed areas was designed with the best of Andalucian & Moorish architecture. It is called Las Mil Maravillas, meaning a thousand wonders, because there are so many details that add character and charm and will definitely surprise and delight you. The result is a warm and inviting home that is bound to relax you with the sound of water flowing from the fountain, the sweet fragrance of the colourful flowers that fill the Andalucian patio and the open views to the mountains, sea and the Moorish castle of Salobrena.
This luxurious villa is located on a quiet cul-de-sac on the prestigious and mature residential estate of Monte de los Almendros in Salobrena. Below and to the left of the villa is farm land so you can enjoy the open space and the view to the terraced levels of fruit trees out to the mountains, the sea and the Moorish castle, which is illuminated at night. The villa can be reached from Granada, Malaga and Almeria airports. The beach, restaurants and shops are just a 5 minute drive away. There is a private pool, which can be locked off for child safety. Apart from this pool, guests have complimentary use of the communal facilities which include a large pool, children´s pool, tennis court, football pitch and table tennis. This area is a 3 minute walk from the villa.
This very spacious, 3 bedroom villa can actually sleep 8 people in proper beds and 9 if the 9th guest is a baby that can sleep in a cot. The master bedroom is located upstairs and has an elegant ensuite bathroom and a large private terrace with spectacular views to the sea & the Moorish castle of Salobrena. The other 2 bedrooms are located downstairs on the entry level. Both of these bedrooms can sleep 3 people each, as one of the twin beds actually converts into a double bed so it is perfect for an adult couple. There is a separate twin bed in each of the rooms meaning a child could share a room with their parents or 3 children could comfortably sleep in the same room.
The layout of the villa is as follows.
From the access street, which has no through traffic, there is a large garage that has some exercise equipment that you are welcome to use. There is also a motorised quad bike and some other bikes suitable for young children that can safely be used in the cul de sac in front of the villa. There is plenty of space to accommodate a large car in the garage, and if you need additional parking, you can park directly in front of the villa on the road.
A flight of steps lead up to the villa, where you find a large grassed area to your left that is level. To the right is the entrance to the villa, the covered porch, more grassed area and a beautiful Andalucian courtyard that has a stone fountain, table and chairs and beautiful flowers and plants. The eat in kitchen, sitting room, dining area, reading area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom are located on this level as well as steps that lead upstairs. Upstairs, you find the master bedroom, a large solarium and access to the pool via a pretty stone walkway, which is usually filled with bougainvillea cascading down the wall. There is a grassed area around the pool with plenty of space for sun loungers. There is an outdoor shower, a kitchenette/barbeque area and a covered porch with a table perfect for easy al fresco dining. The pool area can be locked off for child safety as there are beautiful Moroccan wrought iron gates for this purpose. The views to the mountains are very direct from the pool area and it is just a wonderful setting to relax and enjoy the wonderful climate of the Costa Tropical of Granada.
