This air conditioned (hot & cold), new, holiday villa has a private pool and lovely mountain and sea views. It has been furnished and equipped to a high standard making it the perfect place to enjoy a holiday on the Costa Tropical of Spain. It is built over 3 levels and has many terraces, so there is space to comfortably accommodate a party of 13 people.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Costa Tropical of Spain it is very special because of its natural beauty, awe-inspiring views, Spanish charm and proximity to quaint beach towns, the bohemian city of Granada, small mountain villages where it is like time has stopped and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada. It is possible to ski in the morning and enjoy the beach in the afternoon.
Within walking distance of this lovely, holiday rental villa is a communal tennis court, football pitch, playground and 2 communal pools, including a children’s pool. Don’t worry - you can’t see or hear this communal area from the villa. The nearest golf course is about a 10 minute drive away. There is easy access from Granada, Malaga & Almeria airport.
Villa Helijo is perfect for anyone with limited mobility because the are no steps to enter the villa and the main living area along with a nice, double bedroom and the pool and terraces are all on the same level.
In the front entrance area, there are 2 large, level terraces (with good quality, artificial grass) that provide plenty of space for children to play and for sunbathing. As you enter the villa, you will be struck by the pretty blue walls that contrast nicely with the custom wood veranda of the staircase and the Spanish doors. This villa is very inviting and there is a nice blend of Spanish wood and unique stone accents that is countered with light, Scandinavian furnishings. The result is very nice!
On this level, there is a double bedroom and a nice bathroom. There is an enormous, eat-in, 2 room kitchen that is the heart of this home. The spacious, living room and dining room are open plan. There is a large, flat screen TV with multi language, satellite TV and a DVD. There is access to the pool terrace and to 2 covered porches from both the dining room and the kitchen. In the lounge, there is a wood burner to keep you warm on winter evenings. Except from the downstairs level, the villa is fully air conditioned, so you will be comfortable no matter when you come. For those of you who need to keep in touch, there is internet access, you pay as you go. You can also use the internet access in the community, free of charge.
Upstairs, there are 2, good sized, double bedrooms and there is an elegant bathroom with a large, walk in shower that features a power shower from which you will emerge feeling new and ready to go.
Downstairs, there is the third double bedroom and then there is a family bedroom with kitchenette and a sitting area. This room has a permanent, twin size bed and an L shaped couch that converts into a comfortable double bed. Additionally there are 2 supplemental twin beds, so this room is perfect for a group of children that all want to sleep together and enjoy a pyjama party!
The private pool has roman steps. The shallow end is quite shallow so it is nice for younger children to play in. There are both sunny and shady areas around the pool, so you comfort is guaranteed all day long!
