As rum connsieurs know, not all rums are the same. A local rum, that has been produced since 1963 using sugar cane from the Costa Tropical, has just received international acclaim from the Institute of Taste and Quality in Brussels for its taste, smell and appearance. This is really quite an honour considering that this rum until recently had only been for sale within the province of Granada.
