This very special villa for rent with heated, private pool offers breathtaking sea and mountain views. It is less than a 10 minute drive to the beach and the nearest golf course. It is located in a peaceful, residential community. This impeccable villa has a very unique design and a bit of a Moroccan feel to it making it the perfect holiday villa. The villa is spacious, light and airy and you can enjoy the fantastic views from inside as well as outside. There are enormous, sunny terraces and nice covered porches from which you can also enjoy the views and the great climate.
The villa is located in the south of Spain, near the charming coastal town of Salobrena. The Sierra Nevada ski resort is only an hour away, so you can easily ski in the morning and be on the beach in the afternoon. Salobrena Spain is still quite virgin and hasn´t been overdeveloped. It is a great place to relax or to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. There is easy access to quaint seaside towns, the picturesque, mountain villages of the Alpujarras, the enchanting city of Granada, the Alhambra Palace, and even the ski resort of Sierra Nevada.
This villa has a large, private drive where you can securely park several cars. There is easy access to the villa as there are no steps from the drive into the house. As you enter the villa, you will immediately realise how special this villa is as you see he special design features. When you enter the open plan, sitting and dining room, you will be amazed with the spectacular views. Both the living and dining room open up onto a nice covered porch. This is the heart of the home. There are a few steps down to the enormous pool terrace. The pool is sufficiently large to have a good swim. There are Roman steps so it is easy to enter and it is great for young children who like to play by the stairs. The pool is illuminated making it very pretty at night. There is a shaded area on the pool terrace that is ideal for al fresco dining and barbeques. There is an orchard with orange, lemons and even a fig tree, so you can enjoy freshly squeezed orange juice and great gin and tonics!
Back inside, there is a fire place to keep you warm on winter evenings. There is a large, fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room and 2 very nice size bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms has 2 twin beds. There are 2 bathrooms nearby so each bedroom has use of its own bathroom (although they aren´t ensuite). Upstairs, on its own, is the spacious, main bedroom with a very large private terrace. From here you can enjoy spectacular, 180 degree views encompassing the snow covered mountains, the green plains and white washed town of Salobrena Spain with its pretty Moorish castle, and last but not least, the Mediterranean sea. The contrast is spectacular.
There is satellite TV in English. The villa has central heating, so if you come in winter you will be very comfortable. Since the pool is heated, you can swim year round. There is a tennis court, 2 communal pools, table tennis and a football pitch in the communal area which is a 3 minute drive away. Our guests have complimentary, unlimited use of these facilities. There is even WIFI internet access there.
