Special Exhibit on Museum Animals at the Science Museum - Granada

Tuesday, July 21, 2009 - Monday, May 31, 2010

The science museum in Granada, which is called La Parque de la Ciencias, has produced an artistic and scientific application of taxidermy. They have created scenes from the jungle with life-size animals in more 1.900 square meters. This is as close as you will come to taking a safari in Africa while still being in southern Spain. The exhibition will include scenes such as a stampede of 17 wild, mountain goats, the attack of a lioness on a group of zebras and two tigers hunting a group of wild boars.
