This beautiful villa for sale is located in the sought-after community of Monte de los Almendros in Salobreña. Upon opening the front door, you will be amazed by the spacious living room with stunning views to the sea and the coastline of Salobreña. The living room contains a sitting area with a fireplace and a pleasant study/reading corner. All the floors are of terracotta, featuring traditional, intricate patterns incorporating glazed and marble tile inserts. All windows and doors are hand-made using iroko, one of the hardest woods in the world. All are double glazed.
The living room opens onto a terrace with views to the sea and mountains. Next to the house there is a green zone, which gives you lots of privacy. Back in the living room, you will find a guest toilet next to the entrance. You can access the kitchen and dining area from a beautiful, antique wooden door – imported from Java – next to the sitting corner, or via the door opening close to the entrance. The kitchen is fully fitted, has access to a small terrace, and connects with the dining area which has two balconies. There is also an attractive spiral staircase that leads up to the tower room, which is the ideal, quiet place for reading or watching films. All rooms on the upper floor flow seamlessly from one to another. Separate to the house and to the right of the front door, there is a fully equipped utility room accessible from the kitchen.
From the living room, you can take the stairs to the lower level. On this lower level, there is a beautifully illuminated corridor that leads you to the four spacious, double bedrooms, each with fitted wardrobes and with direct access to the garden and pool terrace. The master bedroom has a dressing area and an en-suite bathroom with double sink, walk-in shower and bathtub. At the back of the house there is a tranquil, walled courtyard with a covered sitting area and small stage which has been used for flamenco evenings! It also has a charming water feature. Being the other side of the house, it offers a peaceful environment away from the pool area at the front.
