Once you descend the steps from the street level to this lovely villa, you will think you just arrived at the Bahamas. From the street you cannot imagine the tropical paradise that lays down, since it enjoys complete privacy. As soon as you enter the house via the patio, the bright floor will give you the feeling that you are walking over white sand. You just want to take off your shoes and continue barefoot! The sea glances at you through the doors and windows that lead to the covered terrace and the garden with the private infinity pool. It is difficult to describe the feeling you get when entering the villa, since a lot of styles are perfectly combined. It has a mix of Asian, Bohemian and Ibiza-style elements that disarm anyone who enters this oasis.
The entrance hall gives you access to the living room, the American kitchen and the corridor that leads to the bathroom and three bedrooms. The living room is bright, and the bohemian decoration will immediately make you feel at peace with everything that surrounds you in this villa, where every detail connects and feels just if it is meant to be. The villa was built in the seventies and has maintained its charismatic details which fit in perfectly with the modern, yet cosy decoration. From anywhere in the villa, you can enjoy the views to the sea, the mountains, and the village of Salobreña with its Moorish castle, thanks to the many windows and sliding doors.
The living room surrounds the chimney, and at your left, you will find the dining area with the open kitchen. When preparing a meal in the bright and comfortable kitchen, you will once again enjoy the open views, while also looking at the infinity pool and the green, mature garden. A utility room is located next to the kitchen. Although we would like to go outside to enjoy the views and tropical garden, we continue inside the house, climbing the only staircase to the upper bedroom in the little turret. From this cosy bedroom you have different views from each of the three windows, and it actually seems like they were three paintings on the wall. The left window offers views to the green mountains, where you will see snow laying on their tops during winter. Through the middle window you can enjoy the green landscapes of the fields and Salobreña, while the window on your right is a blue painting, with the sea and the coast laying below your own private castle.
Back in the corridor downstairs, you will find the bathroom with a shower with Moorish shapes. A patio between the bathroom, the corridor, and the bedrooms provide natural light and ventilation, therefore, the air-conditioning will be hardly used in summer. On your left hand, there is a first bedroom with fitted wardrobes and direct access to the covered terrace. The second bedroom on the left, also with fitted wardrobes, is currently being used as an additional living room, converting the master bedroom into a suite. The spacious bathroom offers the luxury to choose between taking a relaxing bath or a refreshing shower, while enjoying the natural light from the patio. The suite continues to the master bedroom where you can exit on the left to the terrace and enjoy the amazing blue surroundings. On your right there is a dressing room with direct access to a spacious storage room, which can also be accessed through the patio at the entrance.
The exterior of this property is almost even better than the interior! The spacious covered terrace, accessible from all the bedrooms and the living room, will be your favourite place to relax the whole year round – it even has a chimney to keep you warm during the chilly winter nights.
