Cumbre Villas is the leading luxury real estate agency on the Costa Tropical of Granada in Spain. For more than 25 years, we have been brokering sales, purchases, developments and rentals of amazing villas with stunning views in this special part of Andalusia.
Cumbre Villas was founded in 2001 and has been very successful ever since. Thanks to continued growth, we opened our new real estate office in 2007 in the coastal town of Salobreña, located at the entrance of the exclusive Urbanization Monte de los Almendros, where the majority of our villas for sale were located at the time. Over the years, we have become the leading luxury estate agency specialized in selling detached homes with sea views. Our property portfolio has expanded along the entire Costa Tropical and we are currently most active in Salobreña, La Herradura and Almuñécar. In 2023, we opened a second office in La Herradura to better serve our growing client base.
In July 2021, the company was taken over by the Dutch-Spanish family Van Der Vorm Peñalver: Pieter and his daughters Serena and Fabiola. Since then, Cumbre Villas continues to be a family-owned and operated real estate agency with the same spirit it has always had: “Arrive as a client, stay as a friend”.
Pieter is a successful entrepreneur who founded and ran various international companies in the Netherlands and Germany, before moving to Spain and starting to invest in real estate on the Costa Tropical of Granada. Pieter and his wife Julia first arrived on the Costa Tropical in 2012 and immediately fell in love with the area, climate and local culture — just like many of our clients do. They bought their first property with Cumbre Villas back in 2013.
Serena studied International and European Law (LL.M.) in the Netherlands and Law and Legal-Private Relations (LL.M.) in Spain. She previously worked at a Belgian law firm specialized in real estate and inheritance law in Marbella, and she currently assists our clients as legal counsel. Fabiola studied Business Administration (BSc.) and Marketing (MSc.) in Amsterdam, and formerly worked for Google in Barcelona as a performance marketing consultant and team lead for the Benelux market. At Cumbre Villas, she is responsible for all marketing and communication.
Cumbre Villas is a certified full-service real estate agency (API: GR337). As a company, we are committed to operating responsibly — using fully electric vehicles for client visits, supporting a healthy lifestyle through local initiatives (as the main sponsor of the local cycling club), and fostering a positive work-life balance for our team.
The team speaks English, Spanish, French, German and Dutch, and consists of knowledgeable agents, solicitors and accountants. As professionals and property owners here on the coast, we know the real estate market intimately.
